Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare surfaces and install wiring, conduits, outlets, and fixtures according to blueprints and codes.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with OSHA and local codes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project updates and requirements.
- Utilize hand and power tools, including multimeters and conduit benders, effectively.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Willingness to obtain necessary certifications and licenses upon hiring.
