Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical systems, circuits, and wiring.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Tool Operation: Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment (multimeters, voltage testers) effectively.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior electricians and project managers to complete projects on time.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: High school diploma or GED preferred; vocational training is a plus.
- Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods; good vision and dexterity.
- Attitude: Strong desire to learn, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
- Math Skills: Basic understanding of geometry and math for measurements.
- Availability: Must be available for shifts, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
