Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installations.
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical components to identify hazards or inefficiencies.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, strictly adhering to OSHA and NEC safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician License in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in electrical work.
- Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
