Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems under direct supervision.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate project execution.
- Assist senior electricians with wiring, circuit breaker installations, lighting fixtures, and outlet replacements.
- Conduct routine inspections to verify that all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site while strictly adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults to identify and resolve system malfunctions efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide updates and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred; a strong mechanical aptitude is more important.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are required for local travel.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Basic math skills are helpful for calculating electrical loads and measurements.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and potential overtime during peak seasons.
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and a genuine desire to learn the trade.
