Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Install and connect wires, cables, and electrical components such as circuit breakers, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to plan electrical layouts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all OSHA safety standards.
- Test electrical systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and requirements.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are looking for motivated individuals eager to learn; prior technical training is a plus but not mandatory.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environments (attics, crawl spaces, heights).
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and a strong desire to acquire technical skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
