Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems including wiring, lighting, and control equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Perform system inspections and safety audits for residential/commercial clients
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and implement effective solutions
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of assignments
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 10 certification required, 30 preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong understanding of NEC codes and Illinois state regulations
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces/heights
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
