Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare job sites by organizing tools, materials, and equipment according to safety standards.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including stripping wire, mounting outlets, and installing light fixtures.
- Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow blueprints and schematics under direct supervision to complete assigned tasks.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy materials and climbing ladders.
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade and obtain a state license.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material needs.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
