Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and residential settings.
- Learn to pull wire, terminate connections, and install lighting fixtures and outlets under supervision.
- Prepare and organize job sites, ensuring a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively, maintaining them in good working order.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols strictly at all times.
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues before they become problems.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Strong willingness to learn, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Background check clearance is required.
