Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including stripping and terminating wires, and installing outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
- Handle and organize electrical materials and tools, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
- Travel to various job sites within the Detroit metro area and surrounding regions.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines on every job site.
Qualifications
- No prior experience as an electrician is required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurement is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn new skills.
