Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Prepare work areas by gathering necessary tools, materials, and safety equipment.
- Perform basic wiring, termination, cable pulling, and outlet installation under close supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Document daily work activities and time sheets accurately.
- Learn and apply National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is required.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, heights, and confined spaces.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude are a plus.
- No prior experience is necessary; we are looking for attitude and aptitude.
