Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Site Preparation: Help prepare job sites by organizing tools, materials, and ensuring a clean and safe workspace.
- Material Handling: Transport, unload, and organize lumber, wiring, fixtures, and other electrical supplies efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free environment for yourself and the team.
- Basic Testing: Assist in testing electrical circuits and systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with codes.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with clients, answer basic questions regarding service, and maintain a positive company image.
- Documentation: Help complete daily job logs and inventory reports accurately.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a willingness to learn the trade from the ground up.
- High School Diploma: A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required for travel to job sites.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic measurements and reading simple diagrams.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of tradespeople.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance is mandatory.
