Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with residential and commercial installations and repairs.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, terminating connections, and mounting outlets.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Use testing equipment like multimeters to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- No prior electrical experience required, but a strong interest in the trade is essential.
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements and quantities.
