While prior experience is a bonus, we are primarily looking for motivated candidates eager to start a lucrative career in the electrical trade with no experience necessary. At Meta Power Electric, we handle a diverse range of projects from high-rise commercial construction to residential renovations. You will work directly with our certified master electricians, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-quality environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of various electrical systems.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform essential tasks such as stripping wire, bending conduit, and terminating cable.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site, strictly adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools correctly and efficiently under close supervision.
- Learn to troubleshoot electrical faults and understand circuit functionality.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and team members.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a genuine passion for learning the trade.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
