Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Install and wire lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, and circuit breakers
- Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with California Electrical Code
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Maintain clean and organized work sites while adhering to safety protocols
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to develop technical expertise
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California Driver's License
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments (climbing, lifting, confined spaces)
- Basic math skills for calculations and measurements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Reliable transportation to various job sites in Los Angeles County
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
