Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical tools and equipment.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict compliance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
- Transport materials and supplies to and from job sites as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are highly desirable.
- A strong desire to learn and a positive attitude towards safety.
