Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Perform basic tasks such as wiring outlets, replacing light fixtures, and installing switches.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and electrical schematics under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Learn to use various electrical testing meters and diagnostic tools.
- Support the team in both residential and commercial projects.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Basic understanding of mathematics (fractions, decimals) is helpful.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
