Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations and repairs.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematic drawings.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical systems.
- Ensure all work sites adhere to strict safety regulations and local codes.
- Install and connect wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Document work orders and maintain accurate logs of completed tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No prior experience required; we provide paid on-the-job training.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating electrical loads.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
