Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, fixture installation, and troubleshooting under close supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Transport tools and materials to job sites as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade and grow within the company.
- Basic math skills are a plus for calculating measurements and loads.
