Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Work alongside experienced professionals on residential and commercial job sites to learn installation techniques.
- Prepare Work Areas: Lay out materials, organize tools, and prepare job sites before work begins.
- Install Wiring & Conduit: Help pull, cut, and install electrical wiring and conduit systems.
- Fixture Installation: Assist in the mounting of outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and panels.
- Site Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe in strict compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Customer Service: Interact with clients professionally, answering basic questions about ongoing work.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are specifically hiring for entry-level positions; prior electrical experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Driver's License: A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to commute to job sites.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic and measurements.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and willing to learn new skills quickly.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
