Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior team members with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize electrical materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up ladders, and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Tool Maintenance: Keep personal tools clean and in good working order; learn to use specialized electrical testing equipment.
- Blueprint Reading: Study and interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: No prior experience is necessary. We value attitude and aptitude over experience.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle for commuting to job sites.
- Soft Skills: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work well in a team.
