Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with residential and commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Learn to identify and handle various electrical components, wiring, and fixtures.
- Prepare job sites by laying out materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Operate basic electrical testing equipment and hand tools under supervision.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and explaining work progress.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- A strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
- No prior electrical experience required.
