Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Learn to interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams under supervision.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Organize and maintain a clean and safe job site in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Handle and transport tools, materials, and equipment as needed.
- Assist with pulling wire, mounting outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
- Document work completed and report any potential safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- No prior experience or licenses are required.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to learning.
- Basic math skills are a plus.
