Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, lighting, and wiring.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical panels, outlets, and fixtures to ensure safety and functionality.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings under supervision.
- Prepare job sites by organizing tools, materials, and ensuring a clean work environment.
- Secure necessary permits and paperwork for project completion.
- Adhere strictly to local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project specifications are met.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurement is a plus.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at heights (if applicable).
- Strong desire to learn the trade and obtain journeymen certification.
