Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all work areas remain clean and organized in compliance with safety regulations.
- Use hand and power tools to cut, drill, and fasten electrical components.
- Install and connect wiring, fixtures, and outlets according to code.
- Communicate effectively with the project manager and clients.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to obtain required state certifications and licenses.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
