Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Prepare job sites by organizing materials, tools, and equipment.
- Run conduit, pull wire, and terminate connections in junction boxes and panels.
- Perform basic electrical testing and troubleshooting to ensure system functionality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment compliant with OSHA regulations.
- Learn to interpret blueprints and technical schematics.
- Keep detailed records of work completed and materials used.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
- Basic math skills for measuring lengths and calculating material needs.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team-oriented mindset.
