As an entry-level Electrician Apprentice, you will work alongside our certified journeyman electricians to learn the ins and outs of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems. We value hard work, safety, and a desire to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Study and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Perform basic wiring, fixture installation, and outlet replacement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Travel to various job sites within the Chicago metropolitan area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
