Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as pulling wire, mounting outlet boxes, and cutting conduit.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Ensure all tools and materials are properly accounted for and stored.
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers regarding job progress.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and minor troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience is necessary; we are looking for raw talent and willingness to learn.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Basic understanding of mathematics (addition, subtraction, fractions) for measurements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
