Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/industrial facilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting on complex electrical networks
- Adhere to strict safety protocols including NFPA 70E standards
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams during emergency outages
- Document maintenance activities using CMMS systems
- Mentor junior technicians on best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Texas Electrician Journeyman License (J-Card)
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proficiency in PLC programming and VFD systems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong diagnostic skills with multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends for critical projects
