Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Learn to identify and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including pulling cable, installing outlets, switches, and fixtures.
- Ensure all work adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly.
- Transport materials and tools to job sites as directed by the supervisor.
- Participate in daily safety meetings and toolbox talks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (required).
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at heights.
- No prior electrical experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
