Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems under the supervision of certified journeymen.
- Learn to pull wire, install junction boxes, and mount electrical fixtures and outlets.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
- Perform routine inspections and basic troubleshooting of electrical equipment.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; a strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude are the only prerequisites.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotation.
- Basic math skills and physical stamina required to lift equipment and work in various environments.
