Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, terminating connections, and mounting fixtures.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Conduct regular inspections of tools and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Transport materials and tools to and from job sites as directed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn and a commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
