Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics under supervision.
- Perform basic tasks such as mounting outlets, switches, fixtures, and junction boxes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, strictly adhering to all OSHA safety standards.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites as directed.
- Perform basic troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve common electrical issues.
- Document work completed and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Willingness to learn, strong work ethic, and a desire to work with your hands.
- Physical stamina required to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and material calculations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
