Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Learn to identify and use various electrical tools, including drills, saws, and multimeters.
- Prepare work areas by measuring, cutting, and threading conduit.
- Run electrical wiring through walls and ceilings to complete circuits.
- Perform basic troubleshooting under supervision to identify circuit faults.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all OSHA safety standards.
- Load and unload materials and equipment from delivery trucks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for reading blueprints and calculating measurements.
- Willingness to obtain required state certifications during apprenticeship.
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the electrical trade.
