Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for job sites and perform basic wiring and fixture installations under close supervision.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or inefficiencies.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites as required.
- Document work completed and report any safety concerns or material shortages to the foreman immediately.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required: We are looking for a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments (indoor/outdoor).
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work with hands.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
