Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial/residential properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work complies with NEC and Louisiana state electrical codes
- Diagnose complex electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Lead weekend emergency response teams for critical outages
- Mentor junior electricians during weekend operations
- Document work orders and maintain safety compliance records
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana Journeyman Electrician license
- Minimum 5 years commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proven expertise with high-voltage systems and troubleshooting
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of NEC 2023 updates
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean record
- Weekend shift flexibility (Sat-Sun 6AM-6PM)
