Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support certified professionals with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by setting up scaffolding, laying out materials, and ensuring a clean, organized workspace.
- Tool Management: Properly handle, load, unload, and maintain electrical tools and equipment in accordance with safety standards.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for everyone.
- Basic Installation: Perform basic wiring tasks, mounting outlets, and fixture installation under close supervision.
- Material Handling: Transport materials to and from job sites, verifying quantities and quality upon delivery.
- Documentation: Assist in logging work orders and maintaining accurate daily records of tasks completed.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and working in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation required.
- Math Skills: Basic understanding of measurements, fractions, and math is highly preferred.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong willingness to learn new skills.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time hours, including occasional overtime and weekends.
