What You Will Do:
As an apprentice, you will work under the supervision of licensed electricians to learn the fundamentals of electrical systems, installation, and repair. This is a hands-on role where you will gain valuable industry experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment and ensure work areas remain clean and organized.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Travel to various job sites within the Jacksonville area as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No prior electrical experience is required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to stand, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
