Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and organizing tools and materials.
- Install and connect wiring, fixtures, and electrical components according to local and national electrical codes.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostic tasks to identify circuit issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, strictly adhering to all OSHA safety standards.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and keep inventory organized.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status.
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required; trade school or apprenticeship is a plus but not mandatory.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and climb ladders.
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs frequently and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measuring lengths and calculating material needs.
- Strong desire to learn safety protocols and follow instructions precisely.
