Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Prepare and organize work areas by gathering tools, materials, and safety equipment.
- Learn and strictly adhere to all safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company protocols.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, conduit bending, and terminal connections under close supervision.
- Inspect electrical systems and components to identify potential hazards or code violations.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe for all personnel.
- Document work completed and report any issues to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred (equivalent experience considered).
- Valid state driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and perform manual labor.
- Basic reading and math skills for interpreting blueprints and schematics.
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade and obtain required certifications.
