Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and implement effective solutions efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain tools and equipment in excellent working condition.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license in the state of Tennessee.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial/residential electrical work.
- In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
