Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including pulling wire, stripping conductors, and terminating various electrical connections.
- Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, strictly following OSHA safety protocols and regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of electrical components and systems under supervision.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are mandatory for job site travel.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong basic math skills and the ability to follow detailed technical instructions.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Willingness to participate in a structured apprenticeship training program.
