Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Study and learn to interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and local building codes.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including pulling wire, terminating conduits, and installing outlets and lighting fixtures.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organized in strict accordance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites and assist in inventory management.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from senior staff to ensure project deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders safely.
- Must demonstrate a strong willingness to learn, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
