Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams under supervision.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including pulling wire, stripping conductors, and terminating devices.
- Ensure all job sites are clean, organized, and comply with OSHA safety standards.
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper operation and adherence to code.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress.
- Obtain required certifications and licenses as training progresses.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; full training provided.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand tools.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and a safety-first mindset.
