Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan electrical layouts.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure all systems are functioning safely and efficiently.
- Identify electrical problems using testing devices such as multimeters, ohmmeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Document all work performed accurately in daily logs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and on ladders at heights.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor.
- Willingness to obtain necessary state licenses and certifications upon employment.
