Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare job sites by organizing materials, tools, and equipment.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, making connections, and mounting outlets and fixtures.
- Read and interpret simple blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Transport tools and equipment to and from job sites.
- Learn and apply local building codes and regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Physically fit to stand, climb, crawl, and work in various conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious attitude.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
