Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks in residential and commercial settings.
- Site Preparation: Help prepare job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and ensuring safety barriers are in place.
- Material Handling: Transport and organize electrical tools, materials, and equipment efficiently.
- Wiring & Connections: Assist in pulling wire, terminating circuits, and installing conduits and outlets under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Blueprint Reading: Begin learning to interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are looking for enthusiastic candidates willing to undergo paid apprenticeship training.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must be able to drive to various job sites within the Los Angeles area.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic measurements and calculations.
- Reliability: Must have a strong work ethic and punctuality record.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with the team.
