Job Overview
As an Electrician Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of experienced Journeyman Electricians to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and conduits.
- Prepare work areas by laying out materials, tools, and equipment needed for the job.
- Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform basic site preparation including digging trenches, setting poles, and erecting scaffolding.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict adherence to local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, removing debris and equipment after each task.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites as directed.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are looking for candidates willing to learn and train.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not strictly mandatory.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating electrical loads.
- Strong desire to work in a hands-on, trade-based environment.
