Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior team members with residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
- Tools & Materials Management: Learn to properly handle, measure, and organize electrical tools, materials, and equipment.
- Site Preparation: Help prepare job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and ensuring work areas are clean and safe.
- Component Installation: Install wiring, conduits, circuit breakers, outlets, and lighting fixtures while adhering to local codes.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Assist in testing electrical systems to ensure proper operation and identifying potential issues.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs, inspection reports, and time sheets.
Qualifications
- Zero Experience Required: We are looking for candidates eager to learn and willing to put in the work. Prior trade experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a current driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between job sites.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with measurements, fractions, and basic calculations.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety protocols and quality workmanship.
- Reliability: Punctual and committed to a full-time schedule.
