Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior team members with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and Interpret Plans: Study blueprints and electrical diagrams to understand layout and specifications.
- Perform Basic Wiring: Execute simple wiring tasks, terminal connections, and fixture installations under supervision.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Keep tools and work areas clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and homeowners to explain progress and answer basic questions.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: A strong willingness to learn is more important than prior technical skills.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Driver's License: Valid, unrestricted driver's license is required for job site travel.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work on ladders, in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Math Skills: Basic understanding of mathematics is preferred for electrical calculations.
- Background Check: Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
