Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior team members with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Learn Safety Protocols: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety standards and company guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for everyone.
- Tool Management: Properly use, clean, and maintain hand and power tools under supervision.
- Material Handling: Help in the preparation and organization of job sites, including unloading materials and reading basic blueprints.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a tidy and organized workspace at the end of every shift.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and provide basic updates on progress when appropriate.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome applicants with little to no background in electrical work, provided they are eager to learn.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required (company vehicle provided).
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and willing to work flexible hours including weekends or overtime as needed.
